This hybrid roundtable revolved around discussions to advance health and transportation access through public policy.

The UC Institute of Transportation Studies presented a timely forum on the latest analysis and science related to the convergence of the three transportation revolutions and what it means for mobility, sustainable communities, the economy, and environment.

This event will highlight one of the tools that have been developed to understand the health impacts related to the way communities and transportation systems are planned and designed called the Integrated Transport and Health Impact Model (ITHIM).

The forum discussed the expanding role of freight in shaping the economy, environment, and communities in the Inland Empire and greater Southern California region.

This presentation provided an overview of findings from a white paper from the National Center for Sustainable Transportation that examines the feasibility of achieving the target of an 80% reduction in CO2 emissions by 2050 from freight transport systems, with a focus on U.S. trucking.

The forum brought together transportation professionals, planners, and policymakers from all levels of government and from the private sector to discuss goals and strategies for short and long term funding and financing options for our local, regional, and state transportation networks.

This forum brings together experts across multiple disciplines examining current and forward-looking approaches on working to improve low-income communities by looking to data analysis.
