In the study, they investigate the factors affecting the adoption and frequency of use of emerging transportation services, including shared mobility services such as car-sharing and ride-hailing (Uber/Lyft), and discuss the impacts the the use of Uber/Lyft has on the use of other travel modes, including public transportation and driving alone, among different sociodemographic groups and geographic regions.
