This toolkit produces, at the census block group level, predictions of the spatial distribution of Plug-In Electric Vehicles (PEVs) and the workplace charging demand of those vehicles.
This project will investigate the unique challenges and barriers faced by landlords and management of Multi-Unit Dwellings in deploying EV charging infrastructure, with a focus on equity considerations and community engagement. By addressing these barriers, the study has the potential to significantly impact EV adoption rates, aligning with California's ambitious goals and setting a precedent for nationwide implementation.
This study contributes to our growing understanding of environmental justice rising from vehicle electrification, underscoring the need for policy frameworks that create a more equitable transportation system.
In this study, emissions from two hybrid electric vehicles with different combustion technologies were compared using portable emissions measurement system and tailpipe sensors under cold weather conditions.
