The research symposium will have morning research and policy sessions focusing on innovations, challenges and opportunities in transit with lessons learned from both here in the US and from abroad. In the afternoon, public transit stakeholders, practitioners, policy makers, and researchers will have the opportunity to formulate a critical research and policy agenda for public transit in a hands-on workshop. The keynote speaker will be Julie Kirschbaum, Director of Transit at the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency.

To cover the provided lunch, coffee breaks, and reception, the cost of the symposium is $25. Scholarship opportunities will be available if requested.
