This toolkit produces, at the census block group level, predictions of the spatial distribution of Plug-In Electric Vehicles (PEVs) and the workplace charging demand of those vehicles. The calculations are based on the current distribution of PEVs from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and New Jersey Department of Transportation, demographic data from the American Community Survey 5-year summaries, commuting data from LODES, and commuting distances between block groups from Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission’s Travel Demand Model.
