This project investigates the information that electric vehicle users receive when they utilize electric vehicle charging applications. The observed applications are from the following charging networks: Blink, ChargePoint, Electrify America, EVConnect, EVCS, evGateway, EVgo, Flo, GreenLots, OpConnect, Powerflex, Tesla, and Volta. Accounts will be created on each of these applications in which the location info, filter options, charger levels, plug types, availability, schedules, payments, maximum power, and other features will be investigated. All of the applications are from networks that serve the State of California with public chargers.
