EPA’s MOtor Vehicle Emission Simulator (MOVES), is an emission modeling system estimating emissions from mobile sources (vehicles) for criteria air pollutants, greenhouse gases and air toxics. MOVES uses known emission as the basis for human exposure modeling, local and regional air quality modeling, regulatory impact assessments, and trend analysis. Currently MOVES only accounts for primary particulate matter emitted from vehicles. This project will focus on the addition of secondary particulate matter data.
