This white paper reviews the state of the practice and knowledge for climate adaptation processes at state departments of transportation and local transportation agencies. It also has interviews with stakeholders and reviews of recent literature.
This project is intended to examine the impacts of alternative AV scenarios on statewide VMT for the state of Vermont to better understand VMT changes across the urban/rural spectrum and enhance the capacity of policymakers to plan for AV deployment.
The aim of this research project is to collect new information about household travel behavior, how households may respond to increased transportation fuel costs, and information about real and perceived barriers to avoiding higher transportation fuel costs in diverse rural communities.
