This seed grant was used to finance a data purchase from Experian, covering 600,000 vehicle transactions in California to supplement existing plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) data. The Experian dataset has several hundred thousand PEV transactions in it, from which the researchers can observe the location (zip code) of the buyer and also demographic information. Using the Experian data purchased through these funds, the researchers will examine a number of questions related to EV rebate incentives, that are funded through other grants.
