Sydney Cliff serves as the Research Program Manager for the National Center for Sustainable Transportation. She manages the full project portfolios of the National Center for Sustainable Transportation (NCST), Pacific Southwest Region University Transportation Center (PSR), and the Institute of Transportation Studies at UC Davis (ITS-Davis) SB1 research program, throughout the entire project life cycles. Sydney is also assisting with the set up of the new Center for Emissions Reduction, Resiliency, and Climate Equity in Transportation (CERRCET).
Prior to her role at NCST, Sydney was a Transportation Planner with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Division of Local Assistance, where she managed state-funded capital rail and mass transportation projects.
Sydney earned a Bachelor's Degree from the University of California, Davis, in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning. During her time at UC Davis, she worked as a Program Management Assistant for NCST, and participated in the NCST Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowship.
