Sara Schremmer

Sara Schremmer is the NCST Policy Director and the Program and Outreach Manager for the Policy Institute, managing the portfolio of policy research projects and executing engagement strategies to connect research to appropriate policy audiences. Prior to joining the Policy Institute, Sara spent more than ten years in the nonprofit sector working as Deputy Director for the California Association of Resource Conservation Districts, as Program Manager for Salmonid Restoration Federation, and as a U.S. Campaigns Coordinator for 350.org. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies with an emphasis on Sustainability and Social Justice from San Francisco State University, and graduated with distinction from Humboldt State University with a M.A. in Sociology.
