Bio
Josh Rodriguez is the Policy and Government Relations Program Director for Environment at the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and Director of AASHTO’s Center for Environmental Excellence. He manages AASHTO’s committees focused on environment, sustainability, transportation system security, permitting, stormwater, NEPA, and emergency response.
Prior to joining AASHTO, Mr. Rodriguez spent 11 years with the DC Department of Energy and Environment in water compliance monitoring and enforcement, most recently as Associate Director for Inspection and Enforcement. He also spent 10 years in the private sector and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science from Texas Christian University.
