Bio

Chris Drake's primary research interest is in causal inference in observational studies. She has studied various methods of estimating causal effects in the presence of confounders. One method of particular interest to her is adjustment by the propensity score. She has investigated the performance of estimators adjusted for confounders by the propensity score to parametric models with regard to remaining bias after adjustment for known confounders. Furthermore she has looked at the efficiency of such estimators. Another area of considerable interest to her is identifying prognostic factors with non-random missing outcomes.
