Bernadette Austin

Bernadette Austin builds cross-sector partnerships to address complex challenges facing communities. As Chief Executive Officer of CivicWell, she leads an organization with a 40-year track record of helping local leaders strengthen community planning, infrastructure, and economic vitality.

Previously, as Executive Director of the UC Davis Center for Regional Change, Bernadette helped strengthen collaboration between universities, public agencies, and community partners. Prior to joining UC Davis, she spent a decade developing and financing affordable housing and other community development projects.
