Geographic Information System Electric Vehicle Charger Planning Toolbox Presentation
April 10, 2015
UC Davis Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PH&EV) Research Center invites you to a seminar demonstrating it’s free Geographic Information System (GIS) Electric Vehicle Charger Planning Toolbox to plan market distribution, fast charging, and workplace charging for electric vehicles. This three hour seminar will cover the research behind the tools for the first two hours and a tool run-through for the last hour. The tools are funded by the California Energy Commission and come with predefined data sets for California but can be customized with your own data. The tool runs on the ArcGIS platform and come with presets informed by current surveys conducted by UC Davis, but allows inputs to be changed to suit the particular scenarios of the modeler.
